Long COVID/ME/CFS folks?

Anyone else here dealing with long haul COVID or ME/CFS? I'm mostly stuck in bed, sensitive to light. I've had some success with high doses of a certain peptide (50mg) twice weekly. Looking for ways to improve my situation with supplements, other peptides, etc., and how to get them cheaper by buying in bulk. Would love to connect with others in a similar boat.

I'm familiar with the Yale LISTEN Study, which has similar symptoms to Long COVID but also includes more cancer (especially colorectal), nerve damage, cardiac problems, and autoimmune issues. In studies, they've been using peptides like Thymosin-α1, Aviptadil, LL-37, Thymosin-β4 fragment (BPC-157/TB-500), and Selank/Semax.

The peptide SPIKENET is still in trials, but it looks promising. If it works, it'll stop the spike protein from attaching to ACE2 and CEACAM1, which would block the virus from entering cells and reduce inflammation, oxidative stress, edema, and death.

I've also seen good results in the lab with stuff like Ivermectin, Nattokinase, Bromelain, and Fermented Curcumin for both Long COVID and related syndromes.

There's a ton of money set aside for folks with these conditions, so there might be something similar for long COVID eventually. People enrolled in the studies are first in line for any compensation. 🙂 https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10452662/

I had long COVID for about 2-3 years, but it mostly cleared up last summer. It seems to come back for a few weeks after I get a new vaccine. My doc and cardiologist both said I probably shouldn't get the mRNA vaccines anymore. Just my experience.

I've noticed some posts circulating with questionable info, so I wanted to chime in. GLP-1 agonists aren't ONLY for patients with diabetes or PCOS. They can be useful for other conditions, too. It's important that anyone taking them is monitored by a doctor because they do come with risks.

I'd like to add to what tirzepatide-convert said. I know people who've used GLP-1 meds to help with depression and to lose weight to qualify for other medical procedures, like breast reduction. It can be a real game changer for some people.

Has anyone else experienced feeling super cold all the time? I've noticed I'm much more sensitive to cold ever since I started these peptides. It's annoying!

That can happen when you're losing weight because your body is burning calories. Try dressing in layers or using an electric blanket to stay warm.

Exactly. It's because you are eating less, so you are producing less heat. Your body is in an energy deficit. Once your weight stabilizes, the cold feeling should go away.
