Appreciate that. To me MJ is just one piece of the puzzle, not the whole solution. If I hadn't committed to overhauling how I eat, I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am now even with the medication helping. My diet shifts have been toward lower sodium, lower fat, lower carb, and lean protein. I still eat carbs, mostly from fresh fruit that's higher in fiber. Basically trying to cut out processed food almost entirely. Also wear a continuous glucose monitor and keep close tabs on my blood sugar, another tool in the mix. It shows me exactly how certain foods move my numbers, which has helped me make smarter choices. You're doing great too! Losing 21 pounds over six months is a genuinely healthy pace. Be proud of that, you've got this.
