Lost a TON on Mounjaro!

Hey everyone! I'm a 45 year old female, 6'1". I started at 462 lbs and now I'm down to 290. I swim about 3km, walk a mile, hit the sauna, and do cold plunges, plus 20/4 intermittent fasting. I went up on my dose pretty fast and have been on 15mg weekly for like, 2 and a half years. My phone just made a cool before and after for me.

I also do sermorelin under the tongue like, 5 nights a week to try and boost my growth hormone and build muscle. Even at 290 I feel really good! I wanna drop another 50lbs of fat and get even more muscle going.

All my bloodwork is amazing. My metabolism was totally busted before and now it's working. Before this medication, no matter what I did, I just couldn't lose anything.

Thanks, medication!

That's interesting. I've been reading about sermorelin combined with other peptides and how that can affect cortisol levels. Have you noticed any changes there?

Cortisol and Prolactin Increase: It's true that some GHRPs might cause slight elevations in prolactin and cortisol. It's great you're monitoring your levels and being proactive. If you notice any symptoms, discuss Ipamorelin with your doctor, as it's thought to have fewer of these side effects.

Hey @Reta-Cake, nope, nothing noticeable - but @Snack-Dude is right, I do bloodwork, and everything is in range. I'll ask my doctor about Ipamorelin next time, just to be safe.

Fantastic work, @CellStory! It is truly inspiring to hear of your success. Regarding your muscle aspirations, have you considered exploring compounds such as nandrolone in conjunction with TRT and HCG? I have heard that HCG's effectiveness might be reduced alongside nandrolone, but this is purely anecdotal. It would necessitate careful monitoring and possibly lab tests to ascertain testicular function, which I understand can be assessed even with zero sperm counts.

22kg down and couldn't ask for better results. Started December. Been pretty active the whole time, didn't really change my exercise game. The appetite suppression from Mounjaro did most of the heavy lifting. I used to self-sabotage with food choices, but not anymore.

Can you share advice on losing so much in six months? I'm almost 8 months on Mounjaro with only 10kg lost, starting to think I'm doing something wrong.

That's so good to hear! You're crushing it at 18. What was the push for you -- did you bring it up with your doc first or did they suggest it?

Started in mid January and lost around 15 kilos so far. Getting ready to shift into maintenance mode soon. You can really see it in the face transformation!

15kg since January moving to maintenance is a clean trajectory. The face change at that pace is always visible before the scale makes sense to people around you.
