Dealing with ADHD alongside type 2 diabetes, and have been running the dual-action medication for a year now, currently at a higher amount, and I've lost just over 51 pounds.
Starting out at a small amount, results came fast at first, roughly a pound and a half weekly right out of the gate, but that eased off substantially over the two months after. (Oddly enough, my worst stretch for actual progress landed at a middle-tier dose.) Side effects peaked once I reached the higher amount, and onions have basically become my nemesis ever since. (Digestive enzymes ease that, assuming I don't forget to take them, which happens. Skip them, and it's sulfur-smelling burps plus a lot of bathroom time. Now clearing that up requires stacking two separate over-the-counter remedies together. One product just trapped the gas inside instead of fixing anything, thoroughly miserable.)
My doctor has also floated the theory that my slower pace connects specifically to the diabetes diagnosis, since she's watched other patients in that same situation lose more gradually compared to patients using this purely for weight without diabetes in the mix. Motivating myself to move around more stays a genuine struggle thanks to executive dysfunction.
As for the ADHD side, got hit with an intense anxiety surge during roughly the opening month, and found others describing that identical experience online. Currently not on any AD
