Reputable water sources aren't exactly expensive to begin with, so how much are you actually saving by mixing your own, and is that savings genuinely worth gambling with your health? What counts as a ridiculous price anyway? Where's the bulk sterile water coming from that's actually cheaper?
I skip all of that entirely.
Just transfer the diluent straight into the peptide and move on. Keep it dead simple. Fewer steps beats more every time.
Honestly, go ahead and mix your own batch for yourself and whoever else you want to share it with. Doesn't affect me either way.
But let's be honest, calling this 'simple' is misleading. If it really were that easy, this entire debate wouldn't exist, and there'd be no shortage of trusted, validated options already out there. Way too many people treat this casually, and that's genuinely risky.
Mixing a lab-grade preservative into sterile water doesn't automatically make the result validated or verifiably sterile. Nobody's testing that batch or the raw ingredients that went into it. It's a gamble, not a guarantee. Plenty of legitimate, tested paths exist domestically without resorting to homemade guesswork. Taking on that risk for no real reason makes no sense to me.
