Mounjaro changed my life!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Started back in April. The auto injector's been a genuine lifesaver for me. I get severe reactions from self-injecting, bad enough to trigger vasovagal episodes where I pass out entirely. Zero issues using the pen though. Doesn't sting, never had a problem at the injection site, though results vary heavily person to person, and honestly side effects didn't really show up for me until reaching 7.5, mostly just occasional constipation and mild nausea now and then. Focus hard on protein, staying hydrated, and getting enough fiber. Check out the educational videos on the manufacturer's site. Celebrate every small win, even the ones the scale doesn't show. You've got this

Down 25 lbs, roughly 11 kgs, across three months. Combined with what I'd already lost before starting Mounjaro, total loss sits at 90 lbs, about 41 kgs. Haven't been this light since giving birth to my son thirty years back. Both my A1C and cholesterol have dropped too. Fine with the slower pace provided my other numbers keep trending right, feels far more sustainable long-term for me this way.

Sitting at a 22 BMI now and still running mounjaro, planning a bit more loss before shifting into upkeep mode. Started this whole thing back at a 30 BMI though. Honestly wouldn't touch this medication if my numbers looked like they do now and I wasn't dealing with weight climbing the second I let things slip. Don't know the full backstory here, but unless things are piling on fast, I wouldn't push you toward it. This isn't some mild, low-stakes drug.

jolly-quietfor24 Everybody's body handles this differently honestly. Lost 112 pounds over 18 months and never ran into the problems you're warning people about, doesn't mean nobody will, just wasn't my experience. Some weeks I'd drop more than 3 pounds, other weeks nothing at all. Sitting at a healthy 120 now after that total. I just don't buy into the one size fits all framing here. Still on 15mg weekly, weight was never my reason for starting mounjaro, I'm type 2 and 15mg is what keeps my blood sugar numbers where they need to be. Still losing some, just much slower, more like 1 to 2 pounds a month instead of weekly. No hair loss, no new wrinkles even at 60, skin noticeably better than four decades back, no organ issues either. Only wish it hadn't taken sixty years to finally get on it.
