I really wanted to share my story because I'm still amazed by where I am. I was so optimistic when I began Mounjaro, but I also worried it wouldn't work for me after reading some posts here. I never imagined I'd have the experience I'm having. I've had 13 injections (around 3 months), and I've lost about 41 pounds as of this morning!
The list of non-scale victories is long.
Some highlights include improved cholesterol levels, normal blood pressure, being able to bend over, looser fitting pants, better sleep, being able to cross my legs, increased energy, improved self-esteem, and reduced body inflammation.
Some downsides that I have noticed are feeling cold all the time and how sitting on my tailbone is uncomfortable, lol.

Sorry for the long post, but thanks for reading! I wish you the best experience possible!

Here are some tips that have helped me with rapid weight loss:
- Eat and drink at room temperature before your injection.
- Keep electrolytes handy and drink plenty of water.
- Eat whole foods - many side effects seem to come from unhealthy food choices.
- Take a good quality collagen supplement at the beginning.
- Consume lots of healthy protein.
- Track and weigh everything you eat.
- Get some exercise every day - I aim for at least 10,000 steps at the track.
- I take a ton of supplements daily (CoQ10, Magnesium, Zinc, Iron, Calcium, Vitamins A, B, C, D, Potassium, Probiotics, Omega 3).
