Mounjaro side effects got too bad 😭

Kimchi is my go to. Local shop makes it. Keeps bad juju out. Spicy braised bean cakes amazing. Thinking of doing spicy shredded meat same way. Thanks for the recipe.

I'm going to try to get back on it but maybe I'll try splitting the dose up like @Riley03 suggested. Maybe that will help with the side effects. I REALLY don't want to gain anything back. I saw some posts about people being on maintenance now, that sounds amazing! I saw a thread where someone was tapering, it gives me hope. Reddit thread

Boyfriend got a virus condition that kept him in bed nine months. Doc gave him something for cortisol to help with heart rhythm swings. Exercise is tough gets wiped from small stuff. Cut down his blood pressure meds that messed his eyes using vitamins. Long list including adaptogens coenzyme potassium salt and fish oil among others. Feels way better now.

Sorry you're going through it — the rough weeks were the worst part for me too. If sulfur burps are part of what you're dealing with, there's a longer thread someone put together with what worked and what didn't. Changing my dinner timing on shot day made a bigger difference than I expected.

That product has four capsules per serving and sixteen capsules per bottle. One capsule gave me something, might be worth buying a bottle just to test it out. Can you tell the difference between that and the other one?

The candy craving uptick on GLP-1s is documented - there's a subset of people where protein and fat aversion redirects cravings toward simple carbohydrates rather than eliminating appetite generally.

The warm water shift after GLP-1 start is common - sweet carbonation becomes aversive while neutral flavors feel tolerable. Diet soda's artificial sweetness hits differently once GI sensitivity is elevated.

The stomach side effects at that dose and duration respond to stepping back a level before the pain becomes the reason to stop entirely - a dose reduction is usually enough to reset. The support piece is real and worth addressing separately from the medical question.
