Mounjaro: Still working after stopping?

Seeing fast results probably does lock in better habits long term. Once you know it's possible, sticking with clean eating and movement feels less like punishment and more like maintaining what actually works.

appetite suppression is a great sign! just stick to your 2.5 and take your next dose on schedule in 7 days. keep at that dose for a month and see how you feel. if youre still having good results stay at 2.5. if youre on mounjaro and insurance wont cover another month at step dosing your doctor can request an override. or if you want to skip the hassle you can just split a 5mg pen instead which is what i do

I've checked my glucose daily for 17 months after beginning Mounjaro. Numbers stabilized around 92 after roughly 6 weeks. I still get mild dawn phenomenon but even after carb-heavy meals the spikes stay reasonable. Recently switched to semaglutide and the readings are now stabilizing again around 92 after a couple months.

I've noticed after taking breaks it takes a few days for the appetite to come back. Usually around a week before food noise gets loud again, and even then if you've built solid eating habits the weight still stays off. Had a break once where I ate a bit more but lost 2 lbs over those three weeks anyway.
