after a year and a half on mounjaro, appetite suppression wore off. that's pretty normal — clinical trials show the same thing, weight loss flattens around week 72. still controlling my blood sugar fine but if i didn't exercise obsessively i'd probably plateau or gain back some. wasn't ever a super-responder though.
 
If weight gain was 100% from the med then yeah you might keep it off if you stopped. For me I was already heavy and the med made it worse. Now I need the med at some dose to maintain even with counting calories.
 
not super common to see zepbound stocked like that at cvs anymore - novo made a deal and dropped it from a lot of standard lists. interesting story, power went out in my area for days last year and i asked cvs if they had a generator. nope. they just threw the cold meds on ice and hoped for the best.
 
3.5 years, 65 lbs, off blood pressure meds, and cholesterol numbers improving at 67 is the long-term picture the one-year results in the OP are pointing toward. The medication working across the metabolic markers, not just weight, is what makes the multi-year case compelling.
 
The study data on regain after stopping is the sobering side of the one-year celebration and the OP's result is real and worth celebrating. 110 lbs and BMI 42 to 26 is a major health event. The studies showing majority regain are also the argument for thinking seriously about what the maintenance plan looks like before celebrating arrival at goal. What's the current plan?
