Muscle Loss: A Serious GLP-1 Side Effect?

The ipamorelin probably plays a role here. It builds muscle when you're training and can cause some water retention. Both of those things work against seeing fat loss on the scale, which is something I've noticed too.

Coming here to learn has been really helpful. Read a lot of the clinical stuff and hydration notes. Cold feet showed up but that's it so far. Honestly expected muscle to hold up better with a slower pace, so this full stop caught me off guard.

Right, the mechanisms don't compete. GHK-Cu is mostly about tissue remodeling and gene expression shifts, glutathione is the antioxidant clearance side. They're addressing different downstream effects of the same stressor. Running both doesn't create redundancy - they fill separate slots. The combination makes more sense than either alone if someone is dealing with accelerated catabolism on GLP-1.
