NAD+ storage: Fridge or nah?

I've heard of NAD+ solutions turning into a gel when kept in the fridge, so I've been keeping mine in a dark, cool place instead. What's everyone else doing? Does it matter if it's the kind with or without buffers?

I don't refrigerate mine, and it still works great when I inject – 100mg into the muscle every other day. I frickin' love NAD+!!!

I decided to try putting my newest batch in the fridge yesterday, and I had no issues injecting it today. We'll see how it goes tomorrow. I only used 1.2ml of bacteriostatic water to mix it (600mg buffered). I might need to add a little more water later, but I wanted to keep the injection volume small, around 20 units.

Hi, I'm new here. This is only the second time I've injected NAD+, and I'm getting headaches. Any advice?

I keep going back and forth between storing it in the fridge and keeping it in a cool, dark place. It seems to inject a bit more smoothly when it's at room temperature, but if I don't use it all within a week, I'll probably put it in the fridge to be safe.

I keep the vial in the fridge, but I fill my syringe the night before I inject and let it warm up a bit. I do the same thing with glutathione.

I'm the original poster, and I've switched to keeping my NAD+ in the fridge too. The buffered kind draws and injects just fine straight from the fridge.

My husband experienced mild headaches when he first started getting NAD+ shots (buffered) and also when he increased his dose. He increased his electrolyte and water intake, which seemed to help. Now that he's been on a consistent routine for a couple of months, he doesn't get the headaches anymore.

You might want to think about taking a TMG supplement about 30-60 minutes before injecting NAD+. It ensures you have enough methyl donors for the NAD+. I take 1000mg twice a day when I'm taking NAD+, SS31, or MOTs-C.

It's hard to say, I don't really "feel" much from most of those things. With NAD+ (which isn't a peptide), I get maybe a little energy boost, but nothing like some people describe. SS31 felt great at first, but I guess I'm optimized now, so I don't get much from it or MOTs-C anymore.

Yeah, some people swear by it, others not so much. My husband says he gets a little energy from NAD+, but it's gone pretty quickly until his next shot, so he doesn't "feel" it that strongly either. He's glad he doesn't feel jittery. He's trying to figure out his ideal routine; right now, he's doing 50mg twice a week. He wants to try going up to 100mg to see if he notices a bigger benefit. Then he'll stick with whatever works best. We'll see if he thinks it's worth continuing.

To Mel57's question about headaches - could also be a reaction to something else you are taking? Have you changed anything else at the same time?

I started taking BPC-157 at 250mcg every day because I had surgery to repair a torn bicep. I wonder if that would help anyone here with injection site pain?
