Nothing budged until things settled internally, blood sugar and inflammation needed to calm first. Food has always been my top priority: calories near 1300-1400, carbs under 60g, basically zero added sugar, over 100oz water daily (nearly all I drink), fiber above 25g, protein past 90g, sodium kept lower though not tracked tightly. Eating out maybe once monthly, sleep close to 8 hours. Bread, pasta, rice are off the table, sugar saved for special occasions. A1C sat at 11.4 before, reads 4.8 now, steady a full year. Don't obsess over exercise routine, it won't shift the scale much the first month if you weren't active before. Moving more helps but isn't the main lever. I love working out, but food has to be locked in first. I eased in slowly, short walks before dance cardio later.
