Nine months, down 130+ pounds!

That's amazing work. Going from where you started to here in 9 months - the effort you put in really shows. You didn't just lose weight, you got your health back. Seriously impressive.

My spouse wanted me to clarify - he's down 20 actually. Started at the higher range of normal weight, now at the lower end. He's 5'9, was 150 and is 130 now.

get why you're wondering if it's working - lots expect big obvious change fast but for most it's gradual. what you described sounds normal. feeling full on less food is a sign things are shifting even if it doesn't feel dramatic. these meds build slow and not everyone gets that heavy 'full' feeling. first signs can be small appetite or portion changes.

23% fat loss with 3% lean mass loss at that pace is a remarkable composition result. The protein and training protocol that produced that ratio is the thing worth sharing in as much detail as the total loss number. Most people report the opposite ratio when they don't have that piece dialed in. What does the daily protein target look like?

Barely noticed anything that first month. Now five months in and I'm down 50 pounds, with my A1C sitting at its lowest point yet, 5.4. Hang in there!

What's helped me most is logging literally everything I eat so my calorie intake stays tightly controlled.

Blood pressure improved. My A1C looks amazing, it started at 12.9, so any drop was going to be a win, and 5.7 is a great number. Food no longer runs my head as it used to. Treats still happen and some days i graze the pantry, but my head around food is healthier: chips are okay, no guilt, then protein or fruit next. Dietician plus nutritionist support helped my food relationship too. Goal weight reached six months back and held, and my A1C has stayed healthy for twelve months!
