Hey everyone, happy almost Turkey Day!
I felt like sharing some good news and hoping others will chime in with their wins, too, because it's inspiring seeing everyone's success! You're all so supportive, it's awesome!
I was on Ozempic from last January to September and since stopping, I've been watching what I eat (portion control!) and doing some light workouts, and I'm thrilled to say the weight is still coming off! I'm kind of shocked? I keep waiting for it to bounce back, or that it's just a dream, haha.
Since I wfh, I hadn't really needed new clothes, but I'm on vacation and realized my jeans that supposedly "fit" were actually pretty loose... I went thrifting figuring I'd go down one size in pants... I dropped TWO sizes! I'm in a size 4 now! I was NOT expecting that. I still think of myself as bigger, it's hard to adjust to a smaller size.
Honestly, I'm just so grateful that Ozempic was a real game-changer for me. It's not magic, it still takes effort and wanting to get healthier. It gave me the initial boost I needed, and I'm so thankful.
