So, Eli Lilly is aiming for FDA approval for an oral weight loss med before the year ends, based on their phase 3 trial results. Apparently, a pill showed significant weight loss. Here's a link to the article:

It seems like it'll be pretty effective, though maybe not quite as potent as tirzepatide. But it should be a lot easier to manufacture in large quantities compared to the injectable GLP-1s. One person even thinks it might be cheaper, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm guessing a lot of people who are afraid of needles will be all over this.
