Ozempic 1mg to 2mg: Jump or Split?

Moving to 2mg weekly from split doses tends to produce a more distinct response peak - the single-dose curve is sharper than the flatter split profile. GI adjustment at the higher single dose is worth watching in the first week or two.
 
The split-dose approach at 2mg is worth trying before jumping to full 2mg weekly - some people tolerate the transition better that way, and it gives better signal on side effects. Eighteen months at 1mg with limited results is a reasonable trigger to push the dose.
