Ozempic Journey: 130lbs Gone!

Okay, so, about half a year ago – 26 weeks to be exact – I kicked things off. January 14th, 2025, weighed in at 460 lbs and… well, broke a chair during the checkup lol. Knew I needed a change. Now? 331 lbs! Dropped 129 pounds. Still going, feeling fantastic. Just 0.5mg, high protein, calorie cut. 10-12k steps daily. Reversed pre-diabetes and sleep apnea. And to anyone hating on Ozempic? Seriously, shove it. We still gotta WORK for this.

That's incredible! You should be so proud! Amazing things are coming your way! I always tell people, think of Ozempic like this:

Would you judge someone for hiring a personal trainer? Someone to support them, guide them, and make them believe they can do it?

*Ozempic is basically that, but working from the inside!* People need to get educated.

Unbelievable!! That's just fantastic!! Keep smashing those goals, and ignore the negativity about relying on medication. I've honestly never felt better than since starting. Huge congrats, you should be so proud!

What an amazing transformation. The chair story is funny, but it's also a perfect example of taking a tough moment and using it as fuel. 129 pounds in 26 weeks is a massive achievement. You're spot on – Ozempic is a tool, not a miracle. You've clearly put in the work with the steps, diet, and mindset. Reversing pre-diabetes and sleep apnea is life-changing; it proves what's possible with this medication combined with actual changes.

Thanks for the honesty—it's really encouraging for those of us just starting out.

I need to do that... I need to aim for 10k steps a day. I barely hit 300 daily. I have agoraphobia, but maybe an elliptical or treadmill is the answer. You're doing such a good thing for yourself. Admire your dedication to embracing a healthier lifestyle. Way to go!

Thanks everyone for the support. I'll try to answer all the questions in the next few days. As for the person who asked about how I did it... It's been a lot of hard work! But I focused on protein and keeping my calories in check. And the steps HELP!

Ok, so I saw someone on another forum post progress pics and I'm like...wow! Amazing what this can do for people! Seriously inspiring!

I agree,

It's not a magic bullet, but it can provide a significant metabolic assist. People often overlook the physiological impact on appetite regulation and satiety.
