Height: 5'8"
Original Weight: 240 lbs (43.5-35-47 in)
Weight Before Ozempic (3rd pic): 205 lbs (44-33-46 in)
Current Weight: 158 lbs (39-28.5-40.5 in)
Total Lost: ~82 lbs
Story Time:
In 2020, the birth control switcheroo hit me hard. Gained like 50 pounds! Managed to shed some after stopping the generic in 2021, but spent the next couple years up and down between 190-210 lbs. Tried everything – workouts, salads, even Metformin (online, shhh!) and Phentermine from a clinic. Phentermine was a nightmare, so I chatted with my doc. She suggested Ozempic, and luckily, insurance said yes.
Started Ozempic in January '24, and I'm down around 50 lbs, slow but steady at about 0.5-1 lb a week. Been on the max 2 mg dose for about 4 months now.
My Plan:
Slow and steady wins the race, right? Less loose skin, more long-term success. Aiming for 1,500 cals a day, since I wanna eventually stop the meds.
Weight History:
18 years old: 208 lbs
25 years old: 155 lbs
36 years old (now): 158 lbs
My weight's always been a rollercoaster, so my body's kinda used to it. And no kids yet, btw.
Tough journey, but feeling healthier and more confident!
