Same boat, nearly two years in and down to a 1mg amount, held there for close to a year now. Come September 1st, it'll mark a full year of holding the goal weight, a loss of 155lbs total. Been talking with the doctor about tapering further, maybe down to .5 or even .25, but there's real hesitation about going lower. The last few months brought a small regain even while staying at 1mg. Hunger's fully returned and meals don't leave the same full feeling anymore. Exercise stays consistent and eating stays reasonably clean, but snacking has come roaring back! Fine with not losing more, just really don't want to gain back.
The plan going forward involves a doctor visit to weigh options: bumping up to 2mg to restart momentum, splitting into twice-weekly .5 shots, or switching over entirely to whatever starter amount fits a different medication such as zepbound or wegovy.
Insurance currently covers this one, and there's real worry that coverage could get pulled now that BMI reads as normal and neither sleep apnea nor other qualifying conditions remain. It's meant to be a lifelong medication, but insurance doesn't seem to see it that way. And the alternatives may not even be covered at all.
Curious what approach others are taking here!
