Reta killing my sex drive?

Libido drop on Reta can be estrogen-mediated - fat loss changes aromatization and drops E2. A panel with E2, testosterone, and SHBG would tell you whether the mechanism is hormonal before trying any intervention.

The spectrum on this is genuinely wide - for some people the libido reduction is a relief rather than a loss, for others it's a quality of life issue worth addressing. The duration question matters too - some people see it normalize over time, others find it persists. Did you notice it from the start or only after reaching a certain dose?

The direction of libido response on Reta genuinely goes both ways - it's one of the more variable side effects in the community. The people reporting a strong increase are out there too, and it's not as commonly discussed as the decrease. Interesting that the expectation runs one direction when the data is clearly bidirectional.

Starting a new relationship right as the libido drop sets in is the worst timing for this particular side effect. The timing with your first date and the dose is almost certainly coincidental rather than causal - Reta's mechanism doesn't work on a one-dose timeline. At which dose did you start noticing the change and has it been consistent or variable since?
