Reta making my heart skip?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Honestly nervous about certain performance compounds affecting the heart. Ran a particular cycle several times without any issue. Actually had a cardiac scan done recently and briefly panicked thinking years of repeated cycles might've enlarged part of the heart, but everything checked out fine thankfully.

An amino acid supplement helps calm that right down, available over the counter too. Works great for me, take a couple milligrams daily, also helps with leg cramps. Same ingredient found in a lot of energy drinks.

Would an amino acid supplement help bring the heart rate down? Come across some sources suggesting it might, though there's a lot of conflicting information floating around out there.

Honestly kind of a self-inflicted thing, mostly happens to people skipping cardiac supplements. Curious though, are you regularly taking magnesium or potassium? Full disclosure, I'm mostly just guessing here.

Woke up multiple times this morning with my heart pounding. Feels like intense anxiety. Increased my dose of the fifth compound pretty quickly since I'd barely had any reaction, but now I'm thinking a lower amount might be smarter. Currently at 4mg and read that the glucagon-related effects don't really kick in until that level or higher?

Does it sound like I should scale back? Would splitting the dose help at all? Or is this just something that comes with the territory?

Also officially hooked on this whole drug class now, you all are amazing!

I've read, and experienced, that reta pushes the pulse up. In my case that explained my crappy sleep earlier, though it has passed. Right now it's day 2 of week 4 and I still eat 1900kcal daily.

Most people notice nothing obvious, yet reta does raise it measurably, more than the other GLPs. I think it only matters if heart rate jumps a lot, say 15 or above, which is rare but can happen, or with a heart condition, where tirz may be the safer pick until there's more research, or if you're an anxious person who notices palpitations. Given your question I wonder if that's you. The rise usually trends back toward normal over months. Should anxiety or unpleasant palpitations show up, lower the dose or quit and move to tirz, which also raises heart rate but less. With a diagnosed panic disorder I'd pick tirz. No documented interaction, but a few forum members, two or three, had panic episodes on reta, so it might trigger them in the susceptible.

Now I'm curious how Reta affects the heartless people here, the ones whose hearts supposedly beat about 40 per minute. Obviously that's hogwash, more like some cybernetic machine. Today was my 2nd Reta dose and my RHR is about 76, up from 68 earlier. The flu has wrecked my exercise plans.

I'm 41 and run long distance. Nearly a month on Reta now, and my BP and RHR were naturally low too. Reta pushed my resting heart rate high enough to feed my natural anxiety, though my body's starting to adapt. Staying in Z2 at my preferred pace has been tough to impossible, hoping it evens out eventually. Any changes in your own heart rate?

Ive been titrating up for a while. No more increases from me, so im just living with hunger signals slowly coming back. Resting rate climbed roughly 10bpm at the outset on 500mcg and has held there since. Sleeping fine. Most of my calorie burn probably comes from lifting and cardio, not from Reta.
