Okay, folks, gotta confess I've been a bit of a mess lately. My weight's been stuck fluctuating around 3-4 pounds--which finally budged when I had a nasty stomach bug (yay?), only to bounce right back. I really don't want to rely on being sick to make progress. And I don't want to be a slave to the scale. The side effects are bad enough. I was feeling so down.
But then I tried on a pair of jeans I used to wear *all* the time. Remember those? The ones that were way too tight when I bought them, and I had to drop like, 5 pounds just to zip them up?
Now they're practically falling off.
So, I'm easing up on the self-criticism and the insane goals. I've gone from 225 to 170, from a size 14 to a size 4. I feel fantastic. Shopping is fun again. I've been holding steady at 168-170 all season. I think maybe this is where I'm meant to be!
