Seatbelt Surprise!

Just had a moment of gratitude on a quick flight. Two years ago, I was seriously considering getting a seatbelt extender. Now, down 165 pounds! If anyone tells you that the 'natural' way is the only way, ignore them!

It's kinda cool having bougie problems now. My biggest worry is my trunks falling off when I jump in the pool, lol.

Congratulations!! That's my goal as well. Only day 3 for me 😂 but it's motivating seeing successes like yours 🫶

It's the visuals even more than the kilos/pounds on the scale, isn't it? I have a large wheelchair I hadn't used in months. I had knee surgery scheduled. My daughter brought the chair to help me move from the hospital to the rehab facility. It's an extra-wide model. The seat belt used to BARELY close. I sat down and there was SO much extra space! Even with the belt tightened I could have fit another person in there! When I left rehab they gave me a standard walker. While in the facility my daughter did my laundry. Sorting it, I found a shirt and thought, 'Oops, she left one of hers!' Nope! It was mine, I just didn't realize how much smaller my clothes were getting!

Spot on, and speaking from experience, nothing's worse than having to ask the flight attendant for that extender.

I'm 32, went from 225lbs to 170lbs. Lost 55lbs. Started with 2.5mg of Monjaro for a month, then 5mg for a month, then 7.5mg for a month. I went back to 5mg because I felt lightheaded and had low blood pressure. Now I mostly eat protein and shakes with fiber. I do pilates twice a week and walk the dogs for 40 mins every evening. I lost that in 4 months, have been on it for 5. Haven't lost any weight in the last month, but I'm happy to focus on toning now. I listen to my body; I stop eating when I'm full, even if I love the food. If I don't, I feel sick. I avoid sugary and fatty stuff. If I feel dizzy, I'll have half a teaspoon of sugar in my coffee, that's it. Hope this helps someone.

THIS!!! That was the moment I realized I got my life back. I've been traveling nonstop since. Almost two years and 105 pounds down - and I've been in maintenance for a while.

Yep! I'm finding clothes I haven't worn in ages, and suddenly they're too big. Like, whoa! This dress used to be SNUG. Now it's hanging off me!

Just a reminder everyone: please stick to discussing approved medications and dosages. And definitely no buying/selling meds here!

I hear you WolfQueen982 about listening to your body. I've had to adjust my relationship with food. Little bites, sips of water in between. If I eat like I used to, I'm paying for it later! Stomach cramps are no joke.
