Roughly six years back, I worked myself to the bone dropping 30 lbs. Regained it all, plus another 10 on top, and when I tried the exact same playbook again, none of it worked anymore! Took over a year to shed that 30 back off, still chipping at that last 10, and the effort I'm putting in now matches what it took before sema ever entered the picture. It's just gotten dramatically harder, I'm 55 now! Don't feel like I'm taking a shortcut here at all. Logged 200 gym sessions over the past year. Track calories, chase my macros as closely as I can manage. Without sema, I honestly don't think I'd have been able to pull this off. My hormones were fighting way too hard to keep the weight from coming off otherwise.
