Sema second round -- stalled?

Hey everyone, so I used semaglutide before and I lost about 30 pounds, which was awesome. I maintained for a bit and then stopped, thinking I was all good. But now I'm back on it because the weight crept back... I'm realizing it might be a long-term thing for me. But this time around, it's not working like before. The first time, I lost like a pound a week, but now it's been a month and I've only lost 2 pounds. I'm wondering if it's because I'm injecting in my stomach now instead of my arm? I used to get the injections at a clinic, but now I'm doing them myself, so I can't reach my arm. Anyone else experience this?

I think you'll see results again, just be patient. Also, rapid weight loss isn't always sustainable anyway. And remember, this is often considered a long-term medication. These meds are meant for managing weight, not just losing a few pounds for a special event.

I'm totally experiencing the same thing as @CutChick. I was on it for like 3 months and lost nearly 30 pounds. Then I stopped and gained back maybe 10. Started again a few weeks ago and I think it's because I'm at a lower dose. Hopefully the effect comes back as I go up, but right now I get an effect for a day or two and then I'm STARVING.

When you stopped taking it, did you keep up with any diet or exercise? I'm thinking about stopping eventually, but I'm worried I'll gain all the weight back even if I do that.
It's important to remember that these medications are tools to help you build healthier habits. If you go back to your old habits after stopping, the weight will likely return. Focus on sustainable lifestyle changes while you're on the medication.

That's awesome to hear about you being able to maintain @ProteinWine. I'm nervous about going off completely. Do you have any diet or exercise tips that helped you out?

Still pretty fresh to this medication, only 4 weeks deep. Haven't stepped on the scale yet but the changes in how my clothes fit are obvious already. The puffiness has pretty much vanished.
