Sema stopped working... switch to Tirz?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
60 on sema and then another 100 on tirz is the two-mechanism approach playing out over time. The switch makes the most sense when sema has genuinely plateaued rather than just slowed down. Individual response drives a lot of this - the overlap in mechanism explains why some people get a big reset on tirz and others don't.

Tirz never worked for me either. Switched over thinking it'd do better, but ended up yo-yoing the same 15lbs for half a year. Went back to sema roughly six weeks ago and already down 10lbs. Know some of that's water weight, but honestly thrilled regardless.

Planning the switch over to tirz next week, wrapping up close to two years on sema. Would love to lose another 10 pounds but nervous about the food noise creeping back. Fingers crossed!

Probably would've paid a premium for Tirz from the start if there'd been more pounds to shed, bigger health stakes riding on it.
Started running a small Sema amount to shed that final stubborn 10 pounds, my habits and health were already solid, just some lingering metabolic quirks from earlier less-healthy years.
Still running that small amount now for upkeep since it simplifies everything, appetite, mood, blood sugar. Maybe once I've held steady at this weight for a full year I'll experiment with Tirz to compare. But Sema's honestly served me really well.

Just echoing what someone else said, since sema worked well for you with no side effects, I'd lean toward sticking with sema again, though I've heard tirz can push results further for some. Chose sema originally for the lower cost, had zero issues, and I've dropped over 110lbs across twelve months running it, and even though the option to switch to tirz came up recently, my results kept me from making the change. Not sure the community rules here let me get into exactly how I source it, but I also wanted to steer clear of dealing with insurance.

On top of that, quite a few dealing with PMOS respond better to Tirz specifically. Sema did the trick for me though. Eleven months in, 42 pounds gone, 10 left before goal. Didn't really start moving faster until reaching a higher dose (1.7mg's turned out to be my sweet spot). Tracked calories with real discipline too. Some people just don't do as well on Sema compared to Tirz, since Tirz works two hormone pathways against Sema's one. Some might tell you it's time to switch. Really it's up to you though - you could push Sema to its ceiling, or make the move to Tirz. Either path, I'd stay on top of the numbers and see how that plays out.
