Had an arm lift myself after dropping around 80 lbs. I'm 46F. Dealt with seriously droopy, thin-skinned upper arms my whole life, never once wore short sleeves. Couldn't stand looking at them, avoided sleeveless tops even at home, kept my arms covered doing housework too so I wouldn't see the flaps. Now I've got large scars from surgery last November, plus a dog ear issue on one arm needing a revision. Arm surgery's notorious for marks, mine are pretty visible right now, though not bad for a brachioplasty. Even so, I'm so much happier, feeling the sun on bare arms with friends this summer, genuinely life changing, I don't flinch at the mirror getting dressed anymore. Bottom line, even severe scarring needing a revision still beats loose skin by a mile. Congrats on your own loss too.
