Hey everyone! I started trying to lose weight back in September '22. I used Saxenda at first, paying out of pocket. My insurance wouldn't cover any weight loss stuff. I ended up buying from a Canadian pharmacy, but even then, I couldn't afford the highest doses, and the postal strike made things even harder, so I skipped doses sometimes.
I switched to Amble and semaglutide this February. It was tough seeing others drop weight super fast while I was just inching along. I had to remind myself to be happy with any progress and, more importantly, to keep the weight off.
Today, I'm down 53.8 lbs! It's been a huge change. So, I'm proof that even if you're a slow responder, patience and a healthy lifestyle pay off. Focus on yourself and what you can control.
Starting Weight: 212.4 Current Weight: 158.6 (I'm 44 and 5'3")
UPDATE: Some people questioned my 'strange' pose in my photo. It's just how I stand, no Photoshop involved! I added more selfies to prove it.
