Starting Ozempic - First Week Thoughts

Hong Kong Yanpep International
The tracking silence on first orders is the most common anxiety before the shipment arrives - most vendors don't push updates until the package is in final delivery. A 14-day window from order to delivery is within the normal range for the standard shipping tier.

190 to under 180 in a few months at 1mg is a solid result. The daily fluctuation between 178 and 174 is completely normal - water, food timing, and other factors make the day-to-day number less meaningful than the overall trend. For the OP starting out, this kind of first-person account is really useful!

Feeling too full to finish a small amount of food on day one is the fullness mechanism working exactly as described. 70kg down and then the medication adding that satiety signal for the first time is an interesting combination - the appetite management was clearly already happening through other means. What's driving the Ozempic addition at that point?

Fairly new to this medication, and honestly only kind of new. Still love fresh produce, so I still enjoy browsing local markets. But I'm a serious food lover too, and the thought of a fancy restaurant meal barely appeals to me anymore, which honestly thrills me. Had no clue how much mental space food thoughts were taking up before this. Even during moments I wasn't actively thinking about eating, it was quietly running in the background somehow. Now meals just register as building blocks toward my daily protein and fiber targets, and that shift feels like such a relief. No more wondering about a mid-morning bite, or what to grab after lunch, none of that. Suspect my restaurant spending is about to shrink dramatically.

Started the same day this week. Down a couple pounds already, not exactly the healthiest pace, but probably some water weight involved. Hoping to keep the rate closer to a pound weekly going forward. Guessing that puts new pants in the picture by winter, though might hold off until spring. This medication has completely crushed appetite and turned food into something that's just fuel now, not really a source of joy. Today's the first day something like real hunger showed up, hoping to get through all the meals today.
