Starting sema - will 0.25 do anything?

Just adding that I've seen people lose a significant amount on the starter doses. Someone on another forum lost 93 pounds on .25 without counting calories!
That's amazing! It really highlights how different everyone's body is. I'm glad I found a dose that worked for me without tons of side effects.

Eat eggs daily plus a McDonald's double cheeseburger most days. That's my protein. Then add fruit, veggies, sometimes yogurt. More focused on calorie deficit while hitting protein goals.

Started at 0.25 too and felt behind - then realized one month in I'm just on a slower timeline now. Takes patience but you'll get there.

Week in and feeling better than I have in months, honestly. Still cautious about calling it a win yet but the direction is good. Also looking at vesilute as a next move. Where'd you find yours?

0.25mg is the loading dose - most people don't notice meaningful appetite suppression until 0.5mg or higher. The 4-week window exists to let the GI system adapt before the effective dose arrives. Watch for GI patterns at 0.25mg, not appetite shifts.

0.25mg is the GI calibration step, not the therapeutic dose - most people don't notice much effect there. The real appetite suppression starts at 0.5mg and beyond. Four weeks at 0.25 before stepping up is the standard ramp.

A lot of folks stay at that starting dose for a while and still see results, the whole minimum-effective-dose idea really varies by person. A friend of mine dropped about 8kg without ever going above 0.5, so it's not like you're locked out of results without pushing to higher amounts.
