After about 9 months on GLP-1s, my weight loss stalled at 5mg of tirz. Instead of upping the dose, I started adding Reta, starting at 2.5mg. I switched my tirz injections to every 5 days and did Reta on its own 5-day rotation, separately. I read it's better to space them out since they affect similar receptors. Reta doesn't suppress my appetite as much, but it seems to boost my metabolism, which helps with energy levels. No nausea or gut issues. I eventually increased Reta to 5mg and Tirz to 7.5mg, still on the 5-day schedule. A year after starting, I hit my goal weight of 130 (started at 211). I've lost another 5 pounds since then without really trying, so I fluctuate between 125-130. I'm now on a maintenance dose of 5mg of both, every 7 days. I'm also looking into peptides/amino acids to help with muscle growth, like NAD+, MOTS-C, AOD 9604, and Tesamorelin/Ipamorelin. I'm a 67-year-old guy trying to get back in shape. I strength train 5 days a week, walk daily, and focus on protein while cutting out sugary/salty snacks after 6 pm. Reta has been a great fit.
