TDEE Calculator Recs?

I've been researching my calorie intake, and I'm realizing I might not be eating enough for optimal fat loss. Some days I struggle to even hit 900 calories! I've looked at a bunch of TDEE calculators, but the ranges they give are all over the place. Anyone have a favorite that's reliable? Thanks!

I usually check out the range, then experiment to see which end feels best and gives me the best results. Been on these meds for a while now, so I can take my time and listen to my body. Hope that helps!

Thanks The_Hitchhiker_66, I think I will try that for a week or two and see how my body feels. My weight loss has slowed a bit, but the weekly losses are still good. More steady now than slow. Just took my 3rd 7.5 dose. I also need to stop weighing myself every day, since I focus more on the small gains from water and stuff! Thanks for the advice.

That's awesome! I started around 275 on Sept 4th and I'm at 200 now, averaging about 1.75 pounds a week. I'm 5'7", 50, moderately active, and I try to stick to around 1550 calories a day. If I'm getting under 1050 or so, I'll add a protein shake. I weigh myself almost every day because I like seeing the fluctuations, and I don't get upset by the ups. I only record the downs in my app. Happy losing!

TDEE calculators are just educated guesses, at best. You're losing at a consistent pace, so whatever you're doing is obviously working.

I agree with New_Gang. The scale isn't the only thing to look at. I pay more attention to how my clothes fit. I bought some shorts a few weeks ago that were snug, and now they're loose! It's a great feeling.

I wouldn't invest in a whole new wardrobe until you're closer to maintenance. I bought new jeans and they were too big again within a month! Leggings and stretchy pants are your friend!

That's a good point! I can see myself needing new clothes soon. I was worried about buying new stuff when I'm not near my goal yet. Thanks!

Eating too little, especially when starting these meds, can backfire. Make sure you're getting enough protein and nutrients to support your body.

I've been on sema for almost a year. Started at a size 18, now I'm a size 6-8. It's been an amazing journey! Don't get discouraged, and remember that health is more than just a number on the scale.
