Testing Teso tabs - anyone else?

Hey, anyone got any good labs for checking out these Teso tabs? We're chipping in for a test and thinking about using ABC Labs or Diagnostics Research, but open to ideas. Wanna join the fun testing these new Teso tabs that dropped around March?

Just wondering, what's the main thing you're trying to find out? I thought the dose in those Teso tabs varied a lot, even inside the same pill. Like, one part could be strong, another weak. So, is it just to see if it's actually Teso?

We want to confirm it IS Teso. Checking purity in a tablet is tricky, but we'd like a rough idea of the dosage range. We've heard to expect maybe 150 mcg difference, but some say it's way more. Finding out the actual variation would be great.

Even if the tests show a huge variation in dosage, what will you do? You either take them or toss them. It won't really change how you dose, right? With a long half-life, the strong and weak tabs should balance out over time anyway.

Thanks for the insight! It's true. I'm not sure what the others are thinking besides lowering costs, but I thought a big range means cutting tabs in half would be smart for anyone with heart problems. Maybe just confirming it's actually Teso is enough, since we'd be cautious anyway.

I dose assuming each pill could be anywhere from 450 to 950 mcg. I started with 275, then 525, but went back to 275 pretty quick. Now, tapering down, I think half every other day is the safest bet. Could be 100 mcg, could be 400 mcg, but at least I’m going down.

Did 525 feel like too much? What made you decide to decrease? I heard the highest anyone saw in testing was 860, so your 950 assumption makes sense. Half tabs sound like a really cautious start, then slowly increase. I read the potential side effects ranged from nothing to insomnia, also one person said they felt super irritable. Dry mouth too, but that was less concerning. Anything else to watch out for?

Oh yeah, Teso isn't good to mix with SSRIs, SNRIs, or MAOIs. Just wanted to say thanks everyone for sharing! It really helps to get your questions and learn from you all.

I was thinking about using Teso for maintenance, so I tried it out. I cut a 525mcg pill into four (sort of equal piles). I took about 130mcg three days on, one off, three on, for a total of 1.6mg. I stopped because it messed with my heart rate. It took 90 days for the Teso to leave my system. Start super slow, maybe 130mcg every other day. The 9-day half-life will get you. Lots of people say they love Teso, but not many stick with it for more than a month or two.

Did you notice anything else besides your heart rate increasing, either at first or later on? Also, how much did your heart rate go up, like how many extra BPMs? Thanks for sharing! Starting small seems smart. I've been looking around and saw either love it or hate it, but not much about how long people used it.

I track it using a half-life calculator. It gets below 5mcg in the outer weeks, but it's still detectable. Today I am at 1.2mcg. I took my last dose on Jan 3rd, 2025 and my total serum levels were 600mcg after that dose. No noticeable effects after the first week or so, though.

I already have heart problems and had a cardiac ablation last May. It wasn't a steady increase I could compare to my normal rate. My heart would just spike over 100bpm for hours (while resting) and then settle back down. I might try Teso again someday, but for now, I'm sticking with Reta.

Yep, using a 9-day half-life. Trace amounts, like under 1 mcg, but still there. This was six 130mcg doses over 7 days.

So I started on 500mcg a day for like 2 weeks then I had to drop the dosage down. It’s hard to put my finger on it really, I just felt...off. Not like, shaky or anything, just not right. I know that’s not very helpful, sorry!
