I've fought the battle of the bulge my whole life. Tried every diet under the sun and exercised until I dropped. Nothing really worked long-term. But for the last 12 weeks, it's been a total 180. My relationship with food? Completely different. I actually listen to my body now. I want nutritious foods. I actually enjoy working out and pushing my limits. And my blood sugar? The biggest shock. It's way more stable than it's been in the past 13 years since being T1D. I'm using maybe 30% less insulin. The boost in confidence has been unreal. And get this - I'm hitting the big 5-0 in a month and a half. I might actually ditch this spare tire. It feels achievable now, which never did before.
