Tirz 15mg --> Reta dose recs?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Whoa! Thought I was doing fine with 300mg of the third compound stored away, plus 200mg of a fourth compound on the way.

Given two decades of clinical trial history with similar substances, I know this stuff doesn't technically 'go bad,' but does potency actually drop meaningfully after ten years, that number keeps coming up? At the ten-year point, roughly where does potency land? Does the decline happen steadily, or speed up after that point? AI tools haven't been much help lately either. On the topic of dosing, one actually suggested a wildly inflated amount for the healing peptide subcutaneously, then admitted after some pushback that the real number should've been a hundredth of that.

HealthAF My switch from Tirz over to Reta was nearly cold turkey, plus a couple of extra Tirz bumps en route, nothing major. To load Reta fast I took frequent small doses, aiming for 6-8mg as quickly as the sides allowed. My theory is that Reta then Tirz works for maintenance, but I need several more months to test it. Adapting to your story, I'd have raised the Reta before adding Cagri. Since you're moving to appetite control only, I'd stay on just Tirz and use Cagri as needed to ease the transition. I'd take small frequent doses guided by appetite suppression and how I feel, work toward a therapeutic level, then convert that into weekly or twice-weekly maintenance dosing for cruising.

Everyone has their own take, here's mine. What dose of Tirz were you on? I began Zep 12/12/25, moved to compounded Tirz at 2.5mg twice weekly until 1/10, then to Reta. My first week was 7mg of Reta over 6 doses. Since the bridge started I've done 6 Tirz doses totaling 14mg, and 34 Reta doses totaling 143mg, roughly 11.6mg a week, part of which was building blood levels with lots of tiny doses to avoid overshooting into side effects I'd have to sit out. The draw of Reta for me was GCGR signaling, lifting BMR and probably protecting muscle better than Tirz does. That signaling depends on dose, so titrating reta by appetite or food noise is wrong for it, though right when using Sema, Tirz or Cagri. My titration followed how I tolerated sides, aiming for 8mg/week or more.

Switching over from Tirz to Reta flopped for me. Hated it. Food tasted awful while I ate it but the food noise stayed anyway. Tirz and Reta together is what works though. I do 3mg Tirz on Monday, 3mg Tirz on Friday, and 3mg Reta on Wednesday. No going back.

A good thing about reta's food noise effect is you worry less about rebound hunger, which people often get with tirz? I receive rebound hunger with tirz unless I act, e.g. dosing every five days or more often maybe. I've mostly used tirz. To finish the last 20 pounds I intend to return to reta or some ghetto version of it, then do tirz + elora once elora is available and reasonably established.

At 15mg of tirz I assume youre less prone to side effects than most. Whatever sides you had before may look similar on reta. Thats how it went for me across all the GLPs, more alike than different. To complicate things, you could eventually add 250 mcg of cagri weekly if you hit a long stall. You mentioned tesa before, another common addition (assuming cancer doesnt run in your family). Tesa works like other GH peptides: it helps hold onto muscle while slowly chipping away at visceral belly fat, despite some temporary water weight. Women tend to respond less, so eventually 2 mg is the target, beginning at 1 mg to avoid carpal tunnel symptoms. Ideally check IGF-1 beforehand as a reference. Fasting a little before bedtime tesa (or after a morning dose) can also help efficacy.
