Tirz... I think I goofed it up :(

For those trying to figure out dosages, there are some great peptide calculators out there. They can really help you figure out how much BAC water to use and how much to inject. I found this one helpful: another forum

I agree with Hank_2005, freezing might not be the best idea for long-term storage. I've heard it can degrade some peptides faster. I usually just keep mine in the fridge after reconstitution, and make sure to use it within a couple of months to be safe.

Told my heart doctor I was taking tirzepatide and the weekly amount. Didn't seem to care, doubt he checked for prescription from my main doc even though I have one. Different health systems probably. Wouldn't even know if he could check. Wouldn't ever admit to non-approved drugs though.

Got pep kits delivered while traveling. Neighbor forgot to grab them - they sat outside for two weeks through 20 to 50 degree swings, rain, snow. No water damage visible. Are they toast?

got my kits a couple months back and reconstituted a few. starting kpv, epitalon and pinealon on monday. other than sending a vial out for a 1200 full spectrum test, how do people check for endotoxins, purity, heavy metals? I trust my gut that some sources are solid and some aren't but testing each one at 1200 is brutal.

I know three people who got kisspeptin from three different vendors with three different BAC waters and every single vial had problems. Won't buy it, won't buy it for anybody. Maybe that's not logical but that's just me. Don't need it anyway.

Insurance cut it all as of Jan 2026. Too pricey, they couldn't negotiate like Medicare did. I'm a retired insurance agent. Learn to make it. I pay under $200 for 50mg and 1ml bac water — that's 5 shots at 10mg or other combos. There's a Reddit forum for sources. Some places premix and deliver, usually $250 a month or less for starter doses. Good luck.

Whether the vial is salvageable depends on whether the needle was clean before it entered. If it slipped from a clean draw, fresh needle next dose and it's likely fine.

Holding onto the old concentration while you figure out the new setup is the practical solution. The multiple syringe problem with the new formulations is annoying but workable. What did the vial look like after the mistake - still clear?

Same day start is such a good detail and the 'naw I can't do this' moment before jumping in is the universal first injection story. For the OP's panic about the 30mg vial - what exactly happened? The specific concern changes whether it's actually a problem or just a scary moment with the needle.

Doing the math before panicking is usually the right move - most dosing errors that feel catastrophic turn out to be within manageable ranges when you actually run the numbers. What specifically did you think you goofed?

What's something from early on in your own journey that makes you cringe looking back? Sure plenty of people have worse stories, but the first thing that pops up is grabbing bottled water off a random retail site thinking it'd work fine. Never actually used it, but apparently that's a rookie move when proper sterile options exist. Get that some people have limited access elsewhere though.

Other thing that bugs me remembering, dropped serious money on a single vial thinking it'd be perfect, this was purchase number three after the first two peptides. Didn't research dosing closely enough beforehand and realized after the fact I'd paid a ton for a single-dose vial. Never even opened it. Just sits in the freezer as a reminder to research properly before jumping in.

Pretty sure most of us have some version of the spent-too-much-before-learning-better story.

Well, I've gone and done something I genuinely never expected. Injected myself with 30mg of the third compound. Don't even ask how, I'm still piecing it together myself!! It's been 17 hours now and my appetite's mostly gone, forcing down small bits here and there, drinking plenty, feeling tired, though the low pressure weather's probably not helping either. Went as high as 22.5mg once before without noticing much difference, so I've mostly stuck around 15mg since. Been running this for 70 weeks now. Anyone else taken 30mg and come out fine? Got way too much going on to deal with being sick right now.
Still can't pin down exactly where the mistake happened, only that I was running on fumes while reconstituting and ended up wasting one needle's worth of medication, but when I drew out 2.5ml from the vial, there was nothing left!!
One vial at 60mg plus 1ml bac water should give four pulls of 2.5ml at 15mg each, so I drew a total of 5ml, first 2.5ml got wasted, the second 2.5ml emptied the entire vial!!

Pretty sure it's toast honestly. Send it my way for proper 'disposal,' ha.

Wouldn't stress over it too much though. Twice now I've had kits sit in my mailbox a full day in ninety-degree heat. Definitely panicked since the vials felt warm just picking them up, but I let them cool down and mixed them over the days after. Not a controlled test by any means, but didn't notice any drop in potency with either my Tirz or the mitochondrial-support peptide. Matches what I've heard anecdotally too, a few hours or even days at elevated room temp doesn't seem to do much damage.
