Titration Troubles & Tolerance?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
That kind of even distribution across doses is actually really good - means the medication worked at every level rather than needing to push high to get results. Being sensitive and staying patient with titration paid off for you. 60 lbs across three dose levels is a clean outcome.

The slow-and-low default is sensible for side effect management but can become excessive caution that extends time at sub-therapeutic levels. If you've been tolerating the current dose well for several weeks with no meaningful side effects, the signal to go up is already there.

Follow the standard four week increase schedule, monitor how things feel at each step along the way, and if it ever feels like too much, scaling back down a level is always an option.

My provider's always pushing the lowest dose that still gets results. Bumping up every 4 weeks is the typical schedule, but if side effects show up or the weight's still coming off, there's no rush to increase on schedule. Can always go up slower too. Best to just listen to your own body.

How's 20mg tirz working out for you? Considering bumping up myself, been sitting at 15mg for months now and still only losing half a pound a week on the good weeks. At 69 and a BMI in the high 40s, feels like I should be seeing more movement than that.

Yeah I honestly wouldn't suggest climbing as fast as I did lol. Like mentioned, everyone reacts differently, and I kept nudging upward weekly while watching how my body responded until landing on the right amount. 6 mg was already working great, but I pushed to 9 and the weight's been dropping steadily, and I'm still managing to eat enough and hit my protein.

I stand as living proof against that theory. Still dropping weight on a maintenance amount of 2mg Tirz weekly. Maybe there's truth to what people claim, just not universally. Probably holds for someone who pushed up to higher amounts. Doesn't apply to those who stayed lower the whole way through. Began tirz at 2.5mg. Climbed to 5mg after a month and stayed there for 32 weeks straight. Down to 2mg maintenance for six weeks now. Weight's still coming off. Had rough patches too. Never assumed reaching my goal would happen purely from the medication alone. Some personal effort's required too. There've been times I pushed through cravings instead of just bumping the dose, knowing that path would only make things harder to walk back from later. Not ready to stop entirely just yet. But I will eventually
