Trouble with a buddy's injections :(

I'd be okay with freezing after mixing. Just don't break the glass. I might try testing it myself.

I have some Pt141, oxytocin, and tesa I could test.
 
The peptide matters. Tirz was fine after four freeze/thaw cycles. Epithalon lost 9% after one cycle and 18% after four.

I'm no scientist, but maybe shorter chains are less stable than longer ones (like Tirz).

They're for the injector pen devices (which everyone agrees not to freeze), but also for the Lilly Direct single-dose vials.
 
I'm sure Jano is doing okay, but he's testing illegal stuff and isn't a published scientist. If you look him up, people are questioning him on those other forums.

Freezing the peptides makes crystals that can change them, making them dangerous. Keeping liquid cold is different. That's just a risk of it breaking down and bacteria.

I trust the janoshik testing on freezing tirz, but you should be careful acting like an expert.

That quote has a key word - *dryers*. Freeze drying involves a vacuum and drying the vial. That's why they use freeze dryers instead of regular freezers.

Why? Because "wet" freezing can hurt molecules - due to crystallization. Tirz might be okay, but freezing/thawing HGH with moisture can cause damage. Same with Epitathlon. Lots of others.
 
Lyophilization is done under vacuum and removes ice crystals through sublimation. They also use cryoprotectants to help that are removed after. Also, the liquid freezes slowly during that.
 
Jano did the freeze/thaw test how the testing group told him. It's just one test, but I'd like more to confirm it, and would pay for it. But it's the only test I know of for Tirz.

I don't know why Lilly says not to freeze Mounjaro/Zepbound pens, but the expansion could make the pen leak or push the stopper out.
 
If he got the syringes from that big online marketplace, that's the problem. I usually get mine from elsewhere, but I was in a rush. I got two boxes of my usual brand. The first was normal. The second feels different and the plunger is way harder to push. Like, I have to use both hands after filling and injecting.

Maybe he got a fake box like me. I knew the risk, it's not a huge deal, and I was warned. I won't do it again.
 
You're right, I totally misunderstood and my response was bad. I noticed part of it the next day, but now I see the "without the needle" part, so yeah, vent without the plunger or use a luer lock needle. Sorry!
 
Lots of opinions on this stuff. You gotta do your research and see what you're okay with. Start with a search for “storage of reconstituted peptides freeze,” there's tons out there. Good luck.
