Take MJ purely for diabetes control, 2.5mgs, not chasing weight loss, though it's still crushed my appetite and I dropped 10lbs across the first four weeks. Heading into week seven now, hoping to get back to eating somewhat normally rather than hearing my doctor's usual warning about not being able to spare the weight. Obviously, but this medication has genuinely saved me where diabetes is concerned, plus it's helping with my MS symptoms too (I have SPMS). Complete game changer. Told her I'll accept the weight tradeoff since it buys me perfect glucose numbers and lighter MS symptoms.
Wanted to quit around the 3:30 mark but pushed through thanks to encouragement from this community. Everyone told me to keep going and things would eventually settle. That's exactly what I'm hoping for since I'm not planning further dose increases, things should level out soon.
Come here mainly since it's the only MJ-focused space around, but also because these stories genuinely move me!
