Wegovy stalled after switch?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
My switch looked like yours, and losing momentum worried me as well, but a switch doesnt automatically mean a stall. The two drugs act differently, tirzepatide versus semaglutide, so your body needs time to show how it responds. With 5 mg Zepbound behind you and Wegovy ahead, definitely stick with your doctor's dosing plan and dont try to match doses yourself. Some people get more nausea or GI trouble in the transition, and others notice little difference. Hope it goes smoothly and you keep progressing!

Zepbound has a bigger effect on systemic inflammation than wegovy. Wegovy may not do enough for you, so if you must stay on it you might need other ways to handle pain and inflammation. I don't know why you switched, but if you can go back that may suit your issues better.

Started Zep on Jan 27 2025 (worked up to 15mg), switched to Wegovy in June 2025 because my insurance changed. My Wegovy entry point was 2.4 mg, and it has not moved since. Strength training is minimal. My job is physically demanding as is, giving me 15-20k steps each shift.

Following this thread closely. Just made the same switch last week myself, only one shot in so far. Spent nearly two years on Zepbound, but after a year of paying for it myself, moved over to Wegovy since my insurance will actually cover that one. Would genuinely love to see improvement on the inflammation side like you're describing, but its way too early to say anything yet. Ill update if I notice a difference either way.
