Weight Comes Back After Stopping GLP-1s?

YES congrats!!! Can't wait to post something similar. My diet's solid right now. Physical activity went way up, slowing weight loss, but I can tell muscle's coming back after years. Good luck!

Tested switching once and absolutely wrecked my digestion so I jumped back on Tirz after about two weeks. Not the answer you wanted but felt worth sharing. Your system might handle it differently though. I did manage to shed some weight during the experiment.

Totally agree. If you actually build better eating and workout habits while on them, that sticks around. I hit a gym right after my last kid and got a trainer, then moved to a home setup with Peloton. Taking time to learn cooking and find routines you like makes a real difference keeping it off.

Obviously my partner thinks I'm hoarding. After my insurance dropped me from my GLP suddenly, I vowed that wouldn't occur again. Our healthcare system is a complete travesty.

glp-1s show some other benefits that tie to longevity. gallbladder issues are a worry though — might need to add tudca. why would i want to quit when the benefits are stacking like this?

check r/glpgrad. the consensus is stay on mounjaro for life. i'm planning to stop too and looking there for advice. did you quit cold turkey or taper?

I did the stacking route with sema and reta after the weight stalled, and breaking through felt huge. Twenty years since I weighed this low, so I'm trying not to get ahead of myself. The walk with the dog helps keep me grounded and reminds me this isn't just about the numbers - it's about actually living better. Ten more pounds seems doable.

That's the thing nobody talks about much - if absorption is off it could hit your side effects totally different than expected. Might feel nothing or might feel everything depending on how your body processes it that day.

Set-point defense is why rebound gets harder each time - the body raises the defended weight after stopping and needs more suppression to cross it again.
