Weight stalled but clothes fit looser?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Exact same situation - stopped for a while, restarted, and immediately hit a plateau. I track food too and keep protein high (no meat either, mostly dairy and eggs). The plateau after a restart seems really common and usually breaks after a few weeks. What's your protein target looking like?

the zero buzz response to alcohol is one of the stranger changes that comes up consistently - not a reduction in how much is consumed before feeling it, more like the response just stops working. cutting it out for calorie reasons is a straightforward call when it is not producing any effect anyway. the stall-but-fitting-differently pattern is body recomposition; the scale number and the shape change do not always move at the same rate

Six months in, my loss stopped and hunger returned. Only lately, with the dose unchanged, has it started again. My doctor suggested revisiting my diet with small tweaks. It seems to work again and I don't feel starving, but I've slipped into old emotional eating habits.

I've shared this before. I stalled at 15mg while still having weight to lose, broke through, and I'm in maintenance now. My plateau lasted 6 weeks with zero change on the scale, when I was 21kg down with 10 to go. But I broke through and dropped another 10kg after that, 31kg total. What worked: I recalculated my calorie target at my current weight, since needs shrink as the body does, using a TDEE calculator. Then two weeks of logging everything I ate, because small extras creep back in without noticing. I dislike constant tracking, but a short stretch sharpens my attention. Before that, I had two or three higher calorie days, which can feel scary but may help the security hormones that drop after a long deficit. I raised my steps by 5%. Hydration, stress and sleep matter too.

Ugh, what a frustrating spot. What about your food, fluids and workouts? Sharing again what broke my own stall. Mine lasted 6 weeks with the scale not moving at all, after 21kg down with 10 still to go. Very annoying. Eventually it broke and 10kg more came off, 31kg altogether. First I recalculated my calorie target for my present weight, since a smaller body needs less, using a TDEE calculator. Next I logged my food for two weeks, because habits let little extras creep in; I dislike tracking permanently, yet a short stretch sharpens my attention. I also ate more than target for a few days ahead of that. It feels scary, but a few can settle the bodys security hormones that may drop after a long deficit.

My first few stalls ended after 1-2 days of putting protein first, cutting every kind of starchy carb, and drinking almost a gallon of water daily. Near goal at the final stall, I tracked all my food in an app that worked out my daily needs from my weight and target. On 5mg I took off around 30 pounds over 20 weeks, but your results will differ, so don't compare. In total I lost 70 pounds, a third of my body weight, over 16.5 months, much quicker in the first half than the second. Later stalls didn't budge with the water-heavy, low carb, protein-first approach. Clothes changed most during plateaus: this summer people thought I was dropping too fast, yet from May to August I lost only 10 pounds, while my jeans went from a 12 to a tight 8. Goal came Aug 30, and the last 10 are HARD!
