Weirdest Ozempic food cravings?

Been on this two years. Only issue is intermittent bowel stuff. A1c went down from 6 to 4.5. Lost about 40, not huge for someone tiny like me. Food noise gone completely. Sometimes forgot meals. Two mg currently, food's just whatever.
 
When you've been off junk food for 6 months are those cravings actually gone? I know every sober person says even after 10 years it's still a daily thing. Or maybe that's just become their story.
 
The shift from old cravings to new weird ones is pretty common in the first few months - the brain recalibrating around a quieter hunger signal.
 
The sweet shift on Ozempic is real for a lot of people - the appetite suppression affects different food categories unevenly. Wanting sweets more while eating less overall is a strange combination but it's consistent with what many people on Ozempic report. The satiation response just doesn't hit sweets the same way it hits heavy food.
 
1mg killing appetite so effectively that the only things that still appealed were in a narrow category is such a common weirdness on GLP-1s. The normal food losing its pull while certain specific things still register is the reward pathway behaving differently from the hunger pathway. Did the narrow craving window eventually expand as you got used to the dose?
 
the random specific cravings that rotate through phases is something a lot of people describe - it's like the medication quiets the noise but lets some very specific signals through more clearly. dark chocolate and squash in the same cycle is an interesting combination. do you find the cravings are actually satisfying when you act on them or do they shift before you get a chance?
 
For me it's been the opposite! I had awful munchies, raiding the kitchen for endless ice cream, chocolate, fruit and snacks; after I began Oz I'm content stopping after a little and the crazy urge is gone. For context, PCOS plus insulin resistance is my background, which might play a role.
 
I began Ozempic in early January and have lost 20 kg, but this past month I gained 3 kg and I'm binge eating every day. The sweet tooth is out of control, I'm inhaling everything at home without even enjoying it, and the grocery store is a disaster for my willpower. I'm terrified I won't stop and will regain it all. Ozempic worked okay for about 5 months (though even then I struggled with food choices), but now it feels like I'm injecting plain water. I'm so upset and jealous that others can barely eat, while I'm back with zero self control. I'm on 1 mg, the highest dose allowed in my country.
