Wrong Mounjaro dose - what do I do?

Just use what you got. Inject every 5.5 or 6 days and you'll get close to the 12.5mg weekly dose. Honestly, 2.5mg isn't a huge difference with these meds.

Okay, three months. I still think it's no big deal. I stayed at 10mg for almost a year so higher doses aren't always better.

Instead of taking them apart I saw somewhere that some people are able to get their prescriptions easy through like online telehealth places now. I guess it just depends on where you live and what is covered by the insurance companies.

I just found out my insurance company is changing their policy! They're making it harder to get refills even though I've been on this stuff for years and it's totally changed my life. I'm so worried about what I'm going to do if they stop covering it...

I've heard about that happening to a lot of people. My insurance is good until 2039 (lol), but I'm still bracing myself for them to try and pull the rug out from under me. It's just so frustrating when these meds are actually working!

someone suggested adding one therapy at a time for 4-6 weeks to see what actually does what. keep a log—dose, timing, bp, heart rate, energy, weight, how you feel. bloodwork every three months and check in with a doctor. that's the solid path.

Don't panic — most people who get an accidental dose bump just feel it harder for a few days. Watch for nausea spikes and the GI sides ramping up. If sulfur burps come along for the ride, this thread has solid practical fixes from members who've been through it.
