Cagri with my Reta - good idea?

Adding cagri to reta for BED is a reasonable move - the amylin pathway adds a different satiety signal on top of reta's mechanism. Start low on cagri dose and watch for additive nausea from the stack.

    Reta: Split Doses vs. Weekly?

The 2.2, 4.4, 6.6 pattern is 1.1mg increments from a 22mg vial. Weekly vs split is contested - the half-life supports weekly dosing, but split maintains more stable plasma levels for some.

Mounjaro - actually working for me!

The medication creates the conditions, the behavioral piece creates permanence. Calorie awareness alongside it is what holds the results long-term. The tool works when the habits follow.

    Ozempic newbie - body shock!

So I’m reading about higher doses being super intense. Like L_M_B_Life said it got better over time, is that the same for everyone?

    Ozempic newbie - body shock!

Okay so I’m getting the protein thing. What about electrolytes? All I have is the sugary liquid IV and I don’t want more sugar. Any recommendations?

    Ozempic newbie - body shock!

I read your hair might fall out if you don't eat enough, but it grows back later? I am really trying to hit my protein goals after what everyone has said. There are some good online calculators for what your calories should be.

    Ozempic newbie - body shock!

Okay, took my first .25 dose Sunday night. It's now Tuesday and even sips of water make me feel like I just devoured a huge holiday meal. I just got diagnosed with T2D and started this med. I'm trying to track calories, but I'm so nauseous. Had some scrambled eggs and bacon earlier...ate maybe...

    UK Folks: Sharps Disposal?

I’ve just got a pile of them in a drawer. I figured my kids can deal with it later. Is that a bad idea?

    Thoughts on this quad stack?

Hey LazyLady - just saw your correction. Sorry for assuming you meant Tesofensine! Tesamorelin is a different beast. Still, be careful with stacking too much at once, especially if you're just starting out with Reta. Slow and steady wins the race!

    Thoughts on this quad stack?

I don't really understand the addition of tesa and 5 amino. You're still ramping up on the reta. Seems like you're adding too much at once before knowing what each one is doing. I think you should dial in your reta dose first. That could take a couple months. You might get all the fat loss you...

Reta newbie here - anyone else?

I didn't notice any appetite suppression benefits until the fourth week at 4 mg. Even then, it wasn't a lot! Like I mentioned, I didn't account for the 6 mg overfill on the 24mg vial of Reta, so I'm probably taking about 7.5mg. The appetite suppression now is incredible—I have literally zero...

Reta newbie here - anyone else?

I went with 1mg for 14 days initially (was concerned about a racing heart). On sema my resting heart rate went from the low 50s to around 72, so I was worried Reta would make it even worse! No increase in heart rate on 1mg, so after 2 weeks I increased to 2 mg. I stayed at 2 mg for a month, then...

Low & slow wins the race?

You look great and are doing so well. Losing weight slowly is the best way. We'd all love to wake up skinny but then we'd be stuck with a ton of extra skin lol. Keep it up, you've got this.
