Tirzepatide - when does it actually work?

Lost it all on 2.5, so I'm staying there for maintenance. Upped my calories with denser foods since my appetite's still limited. Injecting weekly, thinking about stretching to every 10 days. Bouncing between 60 and 58 kg.

been on tirz four months and trying to figure out what to add next — there's so much stuff out there but i want to understand what each one actually does for me. stacking everything together just clouds the results.

    Seeing real changes! 😊

I'm about a month into this journey. It's great to hear about other people's successes. Seeing these results keeps me motivated. What's your A1C now, Oz_Squad_Leader?

    Math check for Reta dose?

Anyone know good sources for BAC water in Canada? purepeptides.ca seems best right now at $49 for 2 vials. Seems pricey? Any other options or is that normal up there?

I used to have serious fatigue - I figured out it was blood sugar roller coasters. But they are completely gone!!!

First month on Zepbound - my thoughts

Sounds like you're doing great! I just had my third shot a few days ago and I'm also having a strong response to 2.5mg. The first two weeks I actually had increased food noise but lots of nausea. My cravings and hunger were suppressed, but I couldn't stop thinking about food. The food noise...

    Talking GLP-1s with Your Doctor

One thing I'd add: if you're employer-insured, check whether obesity treatment is explicitly excluded in your plan documents. A lot of people assume denial equals "doctor issue" when it's actually written into the benefits contract. Understanding that distinction can reduce paranoia about...

Tirz vs Sema for mental health?

Have you considered switching to retatrutide? From what I've been reading, it seems better than both semaglutide and tirzepatide in terms of side effects.

    Ozempic Cost - Ouch!

Saw a similar situation in another thread. Some insurance companies want to see you lose around 5% of your body weight within the first 6 months. If you aren't losing weight, they may not cover it.

    Ozempic Cost - Ouch!

It's insane how much more it costs! I started last week through a private online doc (can't move much with this foot), cost me 70e for the consult and 110e for the monthly pen. So about 200usd. I'm located in Finland.

Weight loss on GLP-1s depends on what you eat?

You're onto the real issue. Diet quality makes all the difference in how much you actually lose. Been learning a ton from paying attention to what different doctors say about this.

    Ozempic Cost - Ouch!

You can also investigate the Costco discount program, or find compounding pharmacies, as has been mentioned. That GoodRx coupon is def a good idea. The money I save on food each month pretty much balances out the $500 I spend through Costco, so it might be more affordable than you think.

    Under 300 club!

Good point. Losing too fast can sometimes lead to problems such as gallstones, vitamin deficiencies, hair thinning, and loose skin. Slow and steady wins the race!

    Hit my goal weight!

I dropped 45 pounds since starting - down from 317 to 272. Still targeting another 92 to reach my final goal, but the progress feels real.
