    Pants Size vs. Waist Measurement?

Mark where your pants hit on your waist. Measure there. The position is so different across styles that you have to try them on. Even then, the sewers might mess it up and each pair is different!

    Time to bump the dose?

BlairPlus I'd say if you aren't seeing movement, and it's been over a month, it's probably time to consider going up. No point in staying at a dose that isn't doing anything!

Weight Comes Back After Stopping GLP-1s?

Tested switching once and absolutely wrecked my digestion so I jumped back on Tirz after about two weeks. Not the answer you wanted but felt worth sharing. Your system might handle it differently though. I did manage to shed some weight during the experiment.

Good for you. I have a friend who's a powerlifter and he's been talking about getting a body scan after a big weight loss. Says he wants to get back to his old form.

    Two Year Oz Journey

TrueQueen Definitely. Ozempic worked wonders, but I hit a wall. Swapping to Mounjaro seems to be what I needed to get the scale moving again. Plus, I like not taking so many pills!

Congrats, this is the dream! Did you gradually reduce your dose or stop completely? My partner and I are also trying to conceive, and I'm scared to get off the medication.

    Two Year Oz Journey

Some of you might recall when I first came here - my blood sugar was a mess, and I was immediately started on a cocktail of meds: a GLP-1, an ACE inhibitor, Metformin, and a statin. I weighed 244 pounds at the time. I felt terrible. Fast forward two years: I'm now 156, off all meds except...

    Coming off GLP-1s: Success!

Wow, congrats on your progress!! Also, could this be marked NSFW? I realize it doesn't really show anything, but someone might glance at my screen while I'm scrolling and get the wrong idea, lol. NSFW prevents the image from loading automatically. I'm not sure if you can do that after posting...

    Lockboxes for your injectables?

I'm impressed, Sulfonylurea-No-More, that you're so organized. I just toss my pen in the fridge door. Maybe I SHOULD get a lockbox, because sometimes my teenage son looks at my stuff kinda funny :/

    Lockboxes for your injectables?

No one's gonna flame you for posting a free file like that. It's just funny how many Etsy shops are selling these decorative vial holders and stuff.

    April '24 - Now: Pics & Experiences

For me, it was a bit of both. The scale definitely moved, but the biggest difference was how my clothes fit and how I looked in pictures. The scale can be deceiving sometimes, especially with strength training.
