    Insurance won't pay anymore :(

My A1C only improved because of this medication in the first place. Stopping would just send it climbing right back up. Ive stayed solidly under the diabetes threshold going on well past a year now, with zero issues from my insurance, still covered completely.

    Injections hurting more now?

For whatever reason my abdomen hurts the least out of anywhere I inject. Didnt notice any real change on that front after switching away from my thigh though.

Skinny fat and Reta - keep going?

Same here, skinny fat is real and genuinely unhealthy. Im losing weight fine on this, but past a point losing more wont improve how I look. Body stays soft and the belly stays put since its high fat, low muscle, fat leaves everywhere else first so arms and legs look thin while the belly hangs...

    GLP-1's 4 life?

Ive held at 2.5 for something like fourteen months now for diabetes. Tried bumping to 5 once and it was miserable. Type 2 diabetic here, and 2.5 alone gives me genuinely great metabolic results.

    2.5 year plateau

Hold your present dose until suppression fades. Zero food noise with stalled loss means the dose still works, your body is just plateauing, so give it time to adjust. I never went above 3mg and still hit my target.

Cagri with my Reta - good idea?

Honestly whether you split it up or take the whole thing once weekly comes down to personal preference. I'm currently at 8 mg, splitting it into 4 mg Sunday and 4 mg Thursday, mainly to ease nausea and diarrhea rather than for better hunger control. For appetite specifically, I'd lean toward...

Down 80 lbs... finally seeing it!

Fair point though, the photos were meant to highlight the weight loss itself. I just suggested a comparable shot to match the first one. Everyone gets worked up over the smallest things, honestly.

Half a year, 35 lbs gone!

Congrats on shedding those 10kg, genuinely impressive! Couldn't imagine dropping 30kg total, and honestly the final 5kg took me twice as long as the first 10. So try not to get discouraged once things slow down. I hovered right around 72-73kg for what felt like forever, then suddenly my body...

    Reta - Week 2 thoughts?

Coming into this late, but I'm six months in. Started at 2mg for a month, no issues there, then increased 2.5mg every four weeks. Now running 7.5mg every five days, and things picked back up after a month stuck at that same amount on a seven-day cycle. Down 35 pounds and my waistline dropped...

Are than any people that don't get miserable on Semaglutide?

Sorry, that sounds rough. If you've genuinely noticed a shift since starting semaglutide, it's worth bringing up directly with whoever's prescribing rather than just riding it out. Tough to know from a forum post alone what's actually causing what, but that detail matters for the person deciding...

    Reta killing my sex drive?

Anyone come across the stuff people mention online, like the third compound killing interest in dating, or wrecking the enjoyment tied to certain activities, and the big one, damaging relationships? How much of that holds up? Five weeks in myself, running 2mg.

    Stopping Ozempic - what's next?

Nine months into ozempic, still at 1mg. Gained roughly 5 pounds on it. A1C's at 7.3 down from years hovering at 11.5. Overdid it around the 4th and now glucose is finding its rhythm again, but I'm starting to see lows creep in. Feels like I'm walking a tightrope. Want to get A1C down closer to...

My experience as a new Reta user

Currently at 5mg weekly on reta. Started low and quickly found stretches without real hunger got a lot longer. Before starting, roughly three hours after eating I'd get hungry again or crave another meal. On reta, skipping a meal entirely felt fine. Real appetite suppression didn't kick in until...

Did I mess up my BAC water?

Where I am it is nearly impossible right now to track down Hospira Bac. Thought about mixing benzyl alcohol into sterile water myself, but that just seems like adding extra risk for no real gain.

    Face slimming first, anyone?

Dropped 40 out of a 50 pound target. Assuming losing that much wouldn't show up in the face at all seems pretty unrealistic.

    GLP-1 vendor sketchiness?

Yeah, not super common, but I've seen legitimate overseas sellers ask for a contact number tied to shipping logistics. Not totally sure why, my guess is a backup contact method in case their messaging accounts get shut down.

    Ozempic & Constipation Relief?

Good to hear, glad that's working out. Any side effects for you? I get really backed up on ozempic, but mj doesn't cause that for me at all. Though mj makes me way more nauseous.

Thinking about switching to Sema from Reta

That particular number doesn't correspond to a standard dosing unit for that medication. Converting it to the actual milligram equivalent would be needed before switching providers.

    PCOS weight loss win!

As someone dealing with PCOS, complete opposite for me. Cycles are fully predictable now, know exactly when they'll start and how long they'll run.

    Ugh, The Constipation Struggle

Magnesium citrate, 400mg a day, less if things get too loose. Definitely helps loosen things up, not totally sure it fixes regularity itself, but that hasn't really been a concern for me.
