Day 5 and the monster is back

Probiotics help with GI transit - timing them before each dose works best.

Cagri or Reta for fatigue on Tz?

The cagri addition for Tirz plateau hits amylin receptors rather than GLP-1/GIP, so it adds a distinct satiety mechanism rather than stacking on the same pathway. The fatigue is real but short-arc; most people calibrate through it in the first 2-3 doses.

    Just started my injections today!

Day one is the best reference point you'll have - the 'didn't hurt at all' moment is the same one most people remember as the thing they were most afraid of going in. The first 2-3 weeks tend to be the adjustment window; the pattern from there gets easier to read. Welcome to the starting side.

    Sweets cravings on sema?

Yeah, don't worry Reta-Strong, it's likely just that your body is adjusting. You might need a higher dose soon. Just stick with it and talk to your doctor.

    Sweets cravings on sema?

Okay, good to know I'm not the only one! And I'm still losing weight slowly, so I guess it's not a huge deal. I can get protein from other things.

    Sweets cravings on sema?

Ok, so I've been taking semaglutide since the middle of September. I'm 5'9". I started at like 195 and now I'm at 160 even. I dropped most of that in the first 90 days. The last couple of months have been harder, food-wise. Savory stuff just doesn't appeal, and I'm always wanting something...

    Ozempic scars?

after you draw all your bac water into the vial, leave the needle in the stopper and pull the plunger out. equalizes pressure, cuts down foam and bubbles, makes drawing the dose easier and more accurate since you're not fighting a vacuum.

    The 'Ozempic Face' Thing?

I haven't personally, but I've heard that magnesium can help with muscle cramps. Might be worth a try!

    Period cravings on GLP-1s?

I've noticed a similar pattern with the medication wearing off a bit towards the end of the week. Days 1-2 are pretty good, then by days 6-7, I'm feeling the hunger creep back. I wonder if spacing out the doses a bit more could help? Like Tracy1982 said, maybe every 9 days instead of 7?

    Forgot my meds!

I've heard from a few people doing 'low and slow' on Ozempic, staying under 1mg for a long time, and having good success. It seems like it might minimize some of the side effects. Has anyone else tried that approach?

    The 'Ozempic Face' Thing?

It's probably less about Ozempic itself and more about losing the pounds quickly.

Tirz vs Sema for mental health?

I agree with SoberCuriousSteve. It's so important to listen to your body and mind. I'm pushing through the anxiety for now since I'm seeing great physical results, but it's good to know when to draw the line.

Tirz vs Sema for mental health?

Could you describe what your symptoms were? I recently switched from sema to tirz and have been experiencing a lot of anxiety, although my gut health has improved significantly. On sema, I was in a lot of discomfort even with balanced meals, but my mental state was definitely better. 😭
